Dear Readers:
Since I entered the Summer Camp I
have been waking up at 7:00 am. Honestly, this is better than waking up for my
school. Anyways, when I arrive to UPR the first thing I do is text a message to
my friends so I can get to them. The first day I was very confused because I
was not enrolled in the course that I wanted. So there when my Summer Camp began…I
was changed four times. So, I met different friends, mentors and teachers. They
were all kinds. Finally, since Wednesday I took English class with Prof.
Irizarry. That first day, we went to the laboratory where we took our class. The
teachers gave us different types of information of material about the English
class. The activity that I did not do during class is texting and getting on
Facebook. You want to know about my lunch time? Well I do the line for lunch.
When I get in, I finally know what I’m going to eat. There is where I meet with
all my friends and talk with them. The consequences are that sometimes food
drops in to my t-shirt and I get sweaty. Perhaps, when we finish eating, our
mentors divide us in groups and take us to the current place where we should
take our lecture. Now you should ask yourselves, what do the students do during
the activities in the afternoon? Well some students get sleepy; others talk a
lot, but most of the students complain and others pay attention to the lecture.
So
that’s what I have been doing since Wednesday.
Sincerely,
